I'm rly trying to get this custom colors thing sorted out. I'm very close I think! Once that gets fixed I can focus on everything else.
I think I will have people attempt to connect to the network early? Either through logging in or when they turn the game on. ( Probably the latter since we won't have anything 'offline' for a while. )
That way you can ACTUALLY see who is connected before you go in game.
As for the other features, I want to include the system for picking items up ( You left click someone or something ), at least in the sense that you can click on other players and see their info, or if I could, I'd like to implement picking up other people too. But that system is in it's early stages and is not coded for the network yet. Any new feature I want to add to the game at this point has to be coded twice, maybe even three times. It has to work offline, work on the network, and work on every client. It's hard hard stuff.
I wish I could crank out updates for you guys faster, but I'm only one person. I do all the coding and model making aside from a few things, but I'm really going as fast as possible to get things out. I'm not the slowest person in the world thank goodness, so we should be just fine if i keep my nose to the grindstone. O v O
I work on and off on certain things for the game. I'm never NOT working on it. If I get sick of coding, I'm making models. If I'm sick of making models, I'm getting textures. If I'm sick of getting textures I'm making maps. I'm always on this 24/7 and I think that's part of why we're so far ahead. We were Version 0.6 a MONTH AGO!
