What's your taste in music?

I'm shy af when it comes to talk about music I listen to but I thought it will be nice if I would post something about music too.

So.. Listening to music is one of my favourite activities. It inspires us, makes you float to different worlds and I love it.
I actually listen to everything what gets in my ear (dunno if this is correcly translated polish phrase??). I think I like rock and electronic music the most, also bonus points if these songs are from eighties (or if they sound like music from that period of time).

^I found this song because of Stranger Things but damn, that's some hardcore '80 right here.

Oh, also if we are talking about traditional music I absolutely love scottish folk music and generally bagpipes (actually I saw that a lot of people hate their sound and I'm like what. But okay, everyone likes something different)

^This is one of my favourites. Actually dunno if it's scottish or irish, I love both music genres of these countries.

Also, can I talk here about my favourite music band of all time? I dunno but here I go. I present you Franz Ferdinand.
Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish indie rock band, formed in 2002 and based in Glasgow. They has been notable for being one of the more popular post-punk revival bands.
I found them when my dad was listening to one of their songs and cause I was searching for something new to listen, I decided to listen some of their work and, oh boy, I immediately fallen in love. You probably know them from their very popular songs, such as Take Me Out, Evil Eye or Do You Want To.

Two things that are definitely worth mentioning: their music videos and lyrics.
I must say, music video for song Ulysses is my all time favourite.

And the lyrics, Alex Kapranos (the founder of the band, lead vocalist and guitarist and the person who writes the lyrics) is absolutely fantastic when it comes to it. Fresh Strawberries has great lyrics about whether it would be better to believe in something in life and stop the routine. (The music video is also great and very symbolic, leaving the listener with his own thoughts about the song.


I really wanted to write about Franz because I think they need a lot more recognition. The thing I love about this band the most is that all of their songs have such memorable tune and that all of them are unique. Long live Franz Ferdinand!
