The Battle of the Wolf Isles
It has been long since known that Detrisin Canis are abominations to the Omni-Alpha. Their lifestyle disrespects everything He made them to be. Carnasin Canis worship the Omni-Alpha fervently, and in His spirit, actively war with and kill the much more docile and peaceful lot. Carnasin numbers are overwhelmingly larger than Detrisin; such, the latter are confined to any outskirts of territory they can hold. Said territory is usually small and broken, and usually rests on the shoreline of the Isles, a far cry from any source of fresh water or edible vegetation.
No Detrisin pack has a true Alpha; these Canis are rather communal and diplomatic, with every individual having an equally important place and role within the society. They are a community of fishermen, gatherers, and craftsman. They believe the meat of another mammal, bird, or reptile is not to be consumed under any circumstance. They regularly pay homage to the Earth, their Mother, and any form of disrespect for Her is worthy of exile from the pack. Some Detrisin packs even worship the Prideweaver. Detrisin Canis will oft ally themselves with like-minded Felis, and many groups of these two species will form a symbiotic relationship with each other. Since Detrisin Canis do not believe in war or violence, the Felis will often act as guardsmen for their gentler Canis brethren. In turn, the gifted fishermen will shower their allied Felis with the spoils of their profession.
