puppo!

two weeks ago my beloved dog and best friend chloe passed away from lung disease at the age of 10. she was everything to me and since her death i haven't had much motivation to do things...i still haven't fully recovered. she was a fierce fighter at the end and didn't want to die, but it was her time. she kept giving me kisses even in her last hours.



but that aside, my entire family has been so distraught by her passing that we decided to get another puppy - not to replace her, since chloe was truly a one-of-a-kind soul, but to help ease the pain. so with that I present Hattie!



Zip is her name given by the breeder. She's a four month old rat terrier (same as chloe!) who likely wasn't going to get adopted because she's an older puppy. she's in ohio...seven hour drive from where I am, but tomorrow we're going to tackle the first leg of the journey! we've never met her but from what we've been told she is a gentle and loving puppy who loves to snuggle! i'm so excited since it's been years since I got a new puppy and I'll update with pics!
