Corvus is an absolute sweetheart but a devil on the battle field. Because of her years fighting in past wars, she's forgotten social cues and sticks out like a sore thumb with her stumped right leg. Still, she is loved by her comrades and they dote on her.

Bred Cowardice

He may look all big and bad but Eyolf is nothing but a hypocrite and a coward.
He often humiliates Corvus for her lack of socialization skills (due to her extended period of time in battle) and her war scars but has no guts to tell her how much he admires her for her courage. However, when Corvus is assigned to Eyolf's unit, his true colors shine through and the two finally connect.
