If you've been having the same problem I have with getting into maps here's a little trick that can help get you into the game. When you click play hover your mouse over the area of the play button and after the loading screen flashes there is a brief window where you can reclick the play button do so and you make the map reload and double your chances of getting in you can do this more than two times but it doesn't seem to work as well.

Edit: this is from several updates back and no longer works.

okay i figured! this was happening to me earlier and i couldn't connect at all, so i stopped trying and waited probably about 30 mins before trying again
after that it let me in, so maybe wait it out?

if you're trying to load into a map that isn't working you have two options
you could wait it out, some maps can take quite a while to load though so this is up to you
OR you could edit your character and choose a different start map under the "Bio" tab

sometimes maps don't load so you might have to try a few times

I'm having the same problem, last time I tried was at least an hour ago if I recall,(maybe I forgot lol) and it is still not working. It's not urgent or anything, I'd just like to put it out there.

That seems to be a common issue with the new update. There should be a patch this weekend, hopefully it'll be resolved then. Until then, just try waiting ~

I don't think you understand, but to clarify, this is in the title screen, it won't allow me to press the "Play" button to log into the game. But again this isn't urgent, so it's fine whatever happens.

On the main screen there are actually two different servers that you have to get connection to in order to log in.

The first (bird flying, says "Connecting to server'' is the game server. If you can't connect there, add CS to your firewall or run as admin.

The second is connection to the account database (logging in with username and password) if this is having trouble connecting and you tried the above method, something is wrong on our end and we need to reset it. This is usually seen as the game telling you your password is wrong when it's not, or "Database Error".
