Allowing Cereal Soup Through Firewall
Basically a firewall is something that monitors incoming and outgoing connections from your computer.
Sometimes if your firewall doesn't know a program it will block that program from having access to the internet.
This could be the issue if your copy of Cereal Soup cannot connect.
There is the default firewall that comes with Windows (Windows Firewall)
BUT if you have an anti-virus program (Norton, McAfee etc)
then that program will have it's own firewall that replaces Window's.

If you don't know what to search then try this:
Replace "PROGRAM" with the name of your Anti-Virus.
Windows 8/10:
Start > Search for "Firewall" > Choose "Windows Firewall"
> To the left there will be: "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
> It'll display a list of programs, towards the bottom find a button called: "Allow Another App..."
> Press "Browse..." and find the game's .exe
> Click "Add"
