been mostly making models and decorating the desert mapppp, i actually have a lot to work on still for user interface. sigh which is actually kind of a joke in programming. / ~ \ the joke is " for every hour you code, add 5 extra hours to script UI " and its nOT MUCH OF a JOKE TO ME bECAUSE ITS VERY VERY REAL.
i'm at the point where I'm basically writing this stuff on my own now. I just sit infront of an empty file and start input and make things do other things and only look up help when i'm absolutely stuck. learning to code was one of the hardest things to do but now i'm constantly thinking about it. sometimes i just lay in bed and i'm like " i wonder if I could use this function and these parameters.... " and before I know it I'm up all night until 9am writing paragraph after paragraph of new code. it's kind of like when u get really really into writing a story and you forget you're writing and just imagining things in your head. it's fun but debugging is just like UI only for every one error you fix, 90 more appear. aNYWAY, im done complaining about that ^O^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;wowza

i have a cool kid named Konstantinos helping me with my networking, he's got a degree in Computer Technology and he writes his own plugins for Unity which is like hoooly shit. this guy could code his way out of a million paper bag and i would starve and die cold and alone becus i couldnt get my sandwihc out of the plastic baggie.

my meerkat mesh isn't even working now. / ~ \ im gonna keep trying to optimize it and figure out the issue

im KIDDING ^O^/ i DID delete the whole thing, but only like, the base files that make up the actual editor, so all my scripts and files and scenes are still there and all set up and ready to go. the only thing i have to redo is the actual user preferences for how the game will run when it's built but thats like ok whatever that takes less than a minute to do. i figured a complete reset might fix my problem and it DID. now not only can my oldest version of the meerkat make it back into the game, but so can it's cousin that comes with hair and everything! PRESTO CHANGEO

so now we're back on track in a BIG WAY! i don't have to worry about that anymore and i can keep focus on getting this chat and server up.
