Tribes aren't officially created yet, but many players have already made their own groups for roleplaying. Ask around in game or look for someone whose already established something on the forums. You could even just start your own and see if anyone is interested!



Tribe roleplay is a lot like one-on-one which is what I mostly cover in the Rolepaly 101 thread. Typically people will make posting orders (A set list of who will post when), but for those looking for a more organic feel, everyone just sort of posts when they feel they're ready and the rule is usually not to post twice until everyone else has had a turn posting. Group roleplays will often split into smaller groups of two as people's characters will naturally gravitate towards and react to individual members- but the group itself is meant to keep a consistent concept even though the roleplay is segmented.

Apocalypse roleplays are a good example. There's a virus of some kind and the characters need to survive, and the group is established to keep the roleplay in that setting- but you may not even talk to everyone in the group.

Tribe roleplays are more strict on activity (being online to roleplay), whereas one-on-one is fairly flexible.

Tribes itself in the game as a mechanic isn't inherently FOR roleplay, it can be used just to organize hunts or participate in events or other more tangible mechanics of the game with a group. But I think it'd be more fun to participate in all of those and include a strong story underneath.



Typically if you made the pack, you would be the leader. A group roleplay is like a project, and it tends to go best if someone is organizing things and making sure the story progresses. It's easiest to do this in a high position like a leader where sensibly all the other characters have to listen to you. Although I think a roleplay where the story leader is someone that the rest of the characters would shun, like some kind of martyr.


Nope! The game supports multiple languages, you can see the other language chats by going into Account settings from the Character selection screen and clicking the flag. You'll have another Global chat of that language and you can try to ask some people there to roleplay! You're free to speak any language in any chat except for the english Global chat, since that's just for english.
