Ye. So since the new update you can treasure hunt in Veal and Chesnut by pressing e and sniffing around. You can find bugs, arrows, or a rock called gastrolith. You take these gastroliths to Halcyon's Heart to the gecko NPC that appraises your rocks, cleaning them off to reveal shiny gemstones. It's only supposed to take 15 minutes to clean them, but there appears to be a bug that sometimes messes with the time, making it a lot longer than it should.

When you finally get your gemstones, you may get unlucky enough to get a load of common stones like the sunstone. ;v;
