you submit to us as either a staff member, beta-tester, designer, or otherwise.
Cereal Soup welcomes and accepts ideas and suggestions from anyone, and content directly created from you guys is the number one thing that I can't wait to show off in game! I have plenty of ideas, but I want to see what you guys have to say as well- and some of your contributions have already made it in game! Future contributors, you'll be able to see people wearing and enjoying your creations when we have these contests, or when you wish to just submit something to me, and I cannot be more grateful!
In return, aside from earning in-game perks and more, you may use Cereal Soup as a reference in any of your real-life endeavors! If you need anything from me as the creator, please message me! I can provide notes of recommendation, or specifically place your name in the credits of the game or on the website instead of using the umbrella term for all contributors! This way, your possible employers can go to a physical representation of your work, and see that you have indeed contributed to a game with a following!
I'm also more than happy to make any changes, including even the names of items to any existing work you've submitted, or even redactions or privacy if you don't feel comfortable with your work being on Cereal Soup. While Cereal Soup owns the right to put your work in game when you give it to us, unlike other places, it continues to belong to you, and at your request can be altered or removed. Your name can still remain in the credits even with redacted work at your request.
If CS wishes to retain or gain full rights to any of your work, we will offer to buy it from you. This gives us the ability to use it in any way we see fit.
The statements in this thread are subject to change, but please come to us if you wish to negotiate something in the event of the rules changing out of your favor.
Thank you!
