Alright! A lot of people have questions about both Gigantism and Dwarfism! Going around through many sources, I've decided to post it all in one thread. - This is kinda like a tutorial, I guess.
What is "Gigantism"?
Gigantism is a "special trait" in-game. You can see if your character has any special traits by looking to the left of the character selector screen.
Under "Special Trait", it should read either Gigantism or Dwarfism - depending on what one your character has!
Now, Gigantism is a special trait that allows a newly-created character to be larger in-size - larger than the size scale can go. People with this trait often get a lot of attention, as when I say "larger than the size scale" - I mean gigantic!
What is "Dwarfism"?
Dwarfism is another special trait in the game, and should appear under "Special Trait" as well. Please keep in mind, it's impossible for your character to have both Dwarfism and Gigantism!
Dwarfism turns your newly-created character into one with the size smaller than the scale. Dwarfism makes the chosen species (including large animals like Felis) into a really small variant of the specimen. Dwarfism usually doesn't receive as much attention as Gigantism (as the character typically is super small), but it still is a really rare trait - and receives much attention.
How do you receive a special trait?
Receiving a special trait is often related to finding a shiny Pokémon. If you already don't know, finding a shiny Pokémon is extremely rare- and could take weeks, or even months to accomplish.
It's been confirmed by this thread - that the official rate to achieve a Gigantism or Dwarfism is a whopping 0.02% - also meaning 2/10,000, making Gigantism and Dwarfism extremely rare to receive. However, if you combine them together - the percentage to receive a trait is 0.04%.
The question is, how to receive it- and what is the fastest possible way to receive it?
It's actually pretty simple, yet requires a lot of patience.
1. You're going to have to create a character by selecting an available slot (+ icon) on the character creator screen.
2. Type in a name (I usually just use 1 key, as I'm trying to make this the fastest way possible). - However, you can choose to keep track of your 'tries' by numbering the character (first try is 1, second try is 2, etc) - however, this isn't the fastest way, as it can even get into the thousands and it's annoying to type in 4 digits rather than just 1. Keep in mind, names don't matter- as you can rename your characters anytime using the ''Edit'' button.
3. Press the ''Save'' button. < You don't have to fill out anything else.
4. After landing on an affinity, press "Finish". - After pressing "Finish", it should take you back to the menu. However, if you got a trait - it should say something like; ''Wait a minute, the Gods are looking down at you!". - This is really rare, but it's what you're looking for. After, it should give you the option of receiving the trait.
5. If you didn't get the trait (which is EXTREMELY likely) - Go back to the animal that didn't get the trait, delete it, and quickly make a new one in the same place. I find this faster than using all of your slots, and then deleting them again. - Just use one slot.
If you get the trait...
SCREENSHOT IMMEDIATELY USING SNIP OR PRINT SCREEN! If you don't do this and a glitch occurs, none of the staff team members can re-give you a Gigantism trait because you wouldn't have evidence!
If you have any pieces of advice or questions- just ask below. However, I can't answer all of them- as I've just done research. < Many people just get confused on this topic.
EDIT - It's a good idea to watch YouTube or a movie while doing this, as it cuts away the boredom.
