have yall heard about these lanky rectangles [deer thread]

i feel like deer are somewhat... underrated by most people, or even just... not thought about enough for how cool they are, and how much variety there is in the cervid fam
talking as an overall average, in my experience the first thing anyone will picture if you mention deer is the classical bambi deer, which are whitetails. (bambi may possibly be red deer but i reckon whitetails look more disney)

which dont get me wrong white tails are gorgeous and are still one of the most aesthetically pleasing looking animals ive come across.

going from videos ive seen and general talk, id say most who are vaguely educated about deer would recognise fallow deer (the loves with the spots even when they grow up), elk, moose and reindeer. which are all still 100% in my heart and soul at all times 

but what ive brought all yall motherfuckers here today to see is some SWEET SWEET LANKY RECTANGLES
