Tangling war
By: Muddybloodywater
The Behemoth trudged down a dark path it’s mighty feet shaking the ground and crumbling mountains. The behemoth was usually a peaceful god, a bearer of life and the soil under everything’s feet. You could say this peace was ruptured by the awakening of an old friend, who broke balance and planned to overthrow the behemoth. The snake like creature. The leviathan. Which slithered through the water causing tidal waves at every shake of the ground. Its long scaled body covered in scars white strikes that laced the skin of the massive creature. Every surge of water from the moving of its massive body reciprocated the anger of the behemoth. The behemoths path dark and twisted came out finally at the seaside whit foaming waves crashed upon the sand slowly deteriorating everything the behemoth created destroying his worth. The waves slowly and greedily engulfed a few grains of sand every time the water hit the behemoths creation, gobbling it up and dragging it into the leviathan’s domain. A mighty bellow rang in the air the behemoth loudly summoning the creatures of land and cave. Rats poured out of the forest and pooled around the epics feet their wiry fur against the behemoths feet made it tingle with satisfaction. The rats were first but soon mighty Canis, quick deadly, Tread out of the forest lining up against the rats peace temporarily unbalancing the earth almost impossibly the instinct to kill faded from the Canis eyes as they aligned with the rats. Third a loud trample rang out as large muscular felines strode out into the clearing, their large muscles rippling and their bulky bodies heaving at the ground as they lined up with the Canis. The behemoths satisfaction grew as he looked down at his army, the fire of war against the serpent gleaming in his eyes. The behemoth loud a mighty roar that very well might’ve risen the dead. Suddenly a serpent as large as the behemoth and as long as the surface of the earth writhed out of the foamy sea, its eyes were burning with rage as it stared manically at the large beast in front of it. A screech split through the air as the Leviathan called out in an eerie malovent tone, the screeches of birds, crow’s carrion eaters circle the head of the leviathan their large wings beating down waves of air on the ocean. Soon after insects writhed out of the water shimmering wings and acid glowing the ocean green clicks and stings. Finally fish and reptiles surfaced from the ocean bed. Beady slit eyes pierced the souls of the enemy’s team. Soon there wasn’t much to stop any war from happening, all creatures had chosen their sides and with the eerie scream of the leviathan and the thundering bellow of the behemoth rang out.
Whose side will you choose?
