If this is the first time you're creating a character then you'll need to "Create new". You'll be greeted with a list of available species which you can choose from...now the fun begins.
🐾 The General tab This tab contains basic character options.
Character name: Oh the joy of coming up with a unique name, ay?
Snout: General facial looks such as snout length, nose bumps, jaw length etc. (Which species are you trying to imitate? Perhaps your character needs a long snout for foraging?)
Body: This includes your character's body build like its weight and bulk/muscle etc. (Is it an underweight scavenger or a mightily-built leader?)
Fur: Additionally you can also pick a fur type like standard, short or curly. (Each gives a distinct look to your character)
Expression: Your character's general expression. (Does it squint a lot, is its gaze gentle, or does it have an abrasive stare?...)
Size: You can make it as large or as small as you like. (consider things like its specie, age and gender)
Paws: Time to do your character's manicure. Paw size, claw length, sharpness etc. (Does it need long claws to dig/hunt, or is it a peace-loving grazer?)
🌿
🐾 The Markings tab Time to customize your character even further by adding markings. Remember, experimentation is key.
Primary, Secondary and Tertiary: will show up on your character's body. (You can use all three, just make sure to adjust the colours later on) Ear markings: will show up on the ears. (Your character will have ears to-die-for)
Tail markings: will show up on the tail. (unless your character opted out of having a tail...)
🌿
🐾 The Colours tab The perfect touch up to any character. Create the perfect colour combination for your character).
Base: This is the general fur colour. (Are you going for a realistic look or a more mythical one?)
Flesh: The flesh colour of the inside of your character's mouth. (Oh, this could be interesting...Maybe your character's tribe requires you to have a specific flesh colour?)
Teeth: The colour of your character's teeth. (For all we know, that friendly-looking canine sitting opposite you could reveal an array of teeth stained red...with what could have been their meal)
Claws: This is the colour of your character's claws. (Perhaps Wolfo enjoys treading through mud and digging in dirt?)
Eye (Right): This is the colour of your character's right eye. (By default the option to "make eyes same colour" (displayed above the drop box) will be ticked. To change the color of the left eye you will need to un-tick this option)
Eye (Left): This is the colour of your character's left eye (optional). (To leave both eyes the same colour just skip this part)
Nose: Colour of your character's nose. (♪♫ Rudolf the red nosed reindeer...)
Eyelid: The colour around your character's eyes. (Perhaps an evolutionary fault has caused your character to have purple eyelids?)
Mane: The colour of your character's mane. (Maybe your character likes to rock that orange mane, or perhaps it helps bring out the inner simba?)
Primary marking: This is the colour of your chosen primary marking. (Perhaps all your character has is a few black spots, or maybe they have brightly coloured markings to warn predators?)
Secondary marking: This is the colour of your chosen secondary marking (Maybe those black spots need some brown stripes? Or maybe rebellious Wolfo needs more colour?)
Tertiary marking: This is the colour of your chosen tertiary marking (And the last little colour touch up - cream leopard spots. Wolfo is now dripping with colour )
Manes: There are primary, secondary and neck manes (You can also choose cheek and brow whiskers)
Eyes: Eye styles such as scratch, blank and goat etc. (Maybe Wolfo is secretly possessed by a demon?)
Tails: You can choose tail lengths such as tailless, short tail and long tail. (Why is Wolfo's tail all bone? Is that a shark tail?)
Ears: Ear styles such as caracal, curly, lynx etc. (Why do you have such big ears Wolfo?)
{Add-ons 2: There are also additional tufts and scars, to add a little bit more detail.}
🌿
🐾 The Bio tab This is the icing on the cake. Every character needs a little background, right? Ideas of what you could include:
Character: ♠ Nickname preference, age, gender. ♠ Personality traits ♠ Relationships {parents, mate, offspring?} ♠ Likes and dislikes ♠ Background/life story (how did Wolfo end up with that harsh scar across his eye?)
Tribe: ♠ Name, Leader, Location. ♠ Rank in the tribe ♠ Tribe symbols/markings? ♠ Link to tribe's forum or thread
All that's left to do is to save your character and you're done and ready to head in-game. Spend as much time creating your character, in the end it represents you as an individual. Have fun in-game!
Tombet is the default place where your character will spawn unless you have toggled the spawn options when creating your character. It leads to Barley, and Sacred Grove as well as holds a huge recognisable tree which holds the portal to Forest Path. Also if you head to the east of Tombet you can travel to Caverns of Order (who's portal is on a cliff). The map is mainly forestry with shrubs and general trees growing throughout the map. There is also a shroom circle hidden within the map where fantasy takes over.
This map is distinguishable due to the orange/yellow trees with orange shrubs and yellow grass. This map can be reached through Barley. It's a quiet autumn-like map full of critters and a small little pond in the corner of the map.
This map can be reached through Tree Strait and has a portal within that leads to Tree Strait. It holds a howling wolf stone sculpture and is a huge map with tress spread widely across the map and a few hidden gems. Chestnut is one of the more interactive maps - it is the only map so far that features hunting.
Can be reached through Tombet's portal found at the base of the huge tree. This map is a small forest with a lane that leads to the portal that leads to Bergen.
This is an ocean submerged island which holds a portal to and from the Tree Strait. Bergen is a big, beautiful beach-like map that is a popular hangout spot for players. It's an isolated island and can only be reached via Tree Strait.
Tip: Halcyons Heart is a hidden map, ask your fellow pals for help!
This map holds a few gems here and there such as rock sculptures and distinguishable plants and trees. It can be reached through the Tombet Portal, in the back of the map on the far edge. Inside this map you can find the portal that leads to Veal, Tombet and Cavern Beta.
A small island filled with bumps raised above the water enough for your character to manuvere through the map. Inside this map you can find the portal to Chestnut. This map can be reached through Bergen. The Tree Strait is the bridge between Bergen and Chestnut.
This map can be reached through Tombet it is at the base of the hill you spawn on in Tombet. It is believed to be a quiet ritual ground with very few visitors passing by.
